• Benjamin Netanyahu’s ‘Bibi-Sitter’ Campaign Ad Is Hilarious

Just when you think you’ve seen it all, boom, you’re smacked in the face with something new.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his conservative Likud party are just more than a month away from what is shaping up to be a tough reelection. So in order to shed some of the grittiness that comes with his former-IDF persona, the prime minister stepped in front of a camera and decided to shake things up a bit. Well, a lot.

He cut a viral video ad that was released on his Facebook page over the weekend.

You see a desperate Israeli couple patiently waiting for a babysitter. But instead of who you might think is on the other side of the door, is, in fact, a smiling prime minister.

“Look, it’s either me, or Tzipi and Buji,” Netanyahu says to the couple in reference to his left-wing rivals. He even calls himself the “Bibi-Sitter,” promising to take care of the couple’s children.

There’s no telling what the impact of this new approach by Netanyahu will be, good or bad. But the video clip above will certainly give you a few good laughs as you start your day.
