• Boehner: Obama’s Budget Gave Us All A ‘Good Laugh’

Presidents entering the last two years of their presidency are often referred to as lame ducks. And no duck is lamer than Obama. His new four trillion-dollar budget proposal is case-in-point.

Taking to the podium today, Speaker of the House John Boehner, R-Ohio., said the president’s budget proposal “provided the American people with a good laugh.”

“Like the president’s previous budgets, this plan never balances – ever,” Boehner said in a statement yesterday. “It contains no solutions to address the drivers of our debt, and no plan to fix our entire tax code to help foster growth and create jobs. Worse yet, President Obama would impose new taxes and more spending without a responsible plan to honestly address the big challenges facing our country.”

No one actually thinks Obama’s $4 trillion budget proposal is anything but red meat for his disillusioned left-wing base. It’s purely political.

Obama, and everyone interested, knows for a fact that this ridiculous excuse for a budget want pass.

Obama is calling for “investments” to “combat climate change.” Won’t happen. He wants to increasing the capital-gains tax. Won’t fly. He’s proposing free community college and more money for the ever-corrupt IRS, among other things. And he knows this crap won’t see the light of day.

This is all a game for Obama. He’s become a joke, just like his budget.

After being late for four straight years, at least Obama submitted his phony budget proposal on time for once.
