The House voted 239-186 on Tuesday to repeal Obamacare…again
While MSNBC is beside themselves with grief over this most recent attempt at undoing an already contentious and unpopular law, the full repeal still faces a large uphill battle both in the Senate and BHO’s precious pen that he continues to boast about.“We need a new system,” said House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.). “We need a system that puts the patients first, one that controls costs through competition, and expands coverage by choice, not coercion.”
The biggest difference between this vote and previous ones, is that this bill is likely to see the light-of-day in the GOP-led Senate, which for years, barely saw any House bill come to the floor because they were largely ignored by Sen. Harry (Skeletor) Reid.
The bill will need 60 votes to overcome Senate hurdles, and with only 54 Republican Senators, it will be hard to predict what will happen next.
But for now…watch the footage from Tuesday’s vote above.
