• Harry Reid: Republicans More Afraid Of ‘DREAMers’ Than ISIS

While delivering a speech criticizing the Republicans’ approach to funding the Department of Homeland Security, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) accused the GOP of being more afraid of illegal aliens than of ISIS.

Reid began his remarks on the senate floor yesterday by rattling off a few of ISIS’s horrific attacks, namely the recent live burning of Jordanian pilot Muath Al-Kassasbeh.

Reid’s contention is with several Republican senators who are pushing for a vote on the House version of the Homeland Security appropriations bill, which would defund Obama’s executive actions pertaining to illegal aliens.

You’re “hellbent on playing chicken with our national security,” Reid said of Republicans.

“It appears that Republicans are more afraid of DREAMers than they are of ISIS,” Reid continued.

‘DREAMers’ refers to a category of illegal aliens who were brought unlawfully to America as children, and whom Barack Obama has halted deportations for through controversial executive actions.

ISIS, or the Islamic State, is a murderous terror group that is, despite American-led military attacks against them, advancing and capturing swaths of territory in Iraq and Syria.

On their march through the Middle East, ISIS has been burning people alive, beheading and burying babies alivecrucifying men who refuse to convert to Islam, and selling women and children into sex slavery.

Reid reportedly left Washington after his floor speech so he could get ready to return to the hospital Wednesday for further surgery on his right eye, which, he says, was shattered while exercising.
