  • Marshawn Lynch Seeking Trademark On Signature Phrase

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch nearly broke the internet when he sat down with reporters before last month’s Super Bowl and gave them only one single answer, “I’m just here so I won’t get fined.” (video above)

The video went viral, and it’s now virtually impossible to be in a social setting without someone making a reference to his comments, but according to Breitbart, Lynch is now seeking trademark status on his signature catchphrase and plans on selling merchandise.

“We heard from our fans, and so many of them were saying that they wanted that phrase on the clothing,” Chris Bevans, who runs Lynch’s apparel line, told “This is just listening to the marketplace.”
