• Missouri Boy Dead For 45 Minutes Comes Back To Life After Mom Prays

Missouri boy John Smith didn’t just drown, “He was dead for 45 minutes.”

That’s what happened according to the doctor who treated the 14-year-old. Paramedics rescued John after he had spent 15 minutes submerged in an icy lake.

After he was rushed to the hospital, Dr. Kent Sutterer performed CPR on John for 27 minutes.

    But John never respond.

The doctors all asked, how long should we continue CPR?

John’s mother, Joyce Smith, was brought into the room to say goodbye. But she wasn’t ready to let her son go. Joyce began praying, loudly.

What happened next has left this small town stunned and thankful.

“I don’t remember what all I said,” said Joyce. “But I remember, ‘Holy God, please send your Holy Spirit to save my son. I want my son, please save him.'”

“They hadn’t been getting a pulse at that time, so all of a sudden I heard them saying, ‘We got a pulse, we got a pulse,'” she said.

After being dead for nearly an hour, John’s Doctors worried about how much brain function he would have. Miraculously, John’s mental and physical recovery have been off the charts.

“It’s a bonafide miracle,” Dr. Garrett said.
