• Obama’s Gearing Up To Spike Gasoline Taxes Nationwide

Behind every financial success in this country stands a politician who wants to get his grubby little fingers all over it and mess it all up for everyone. If the American workers aren’t having a hard enough time scraping by in the Obama economy, then they’re about to feel another pinch…again

I can bet that if you’re reading this, you’ve been enjoying paying a little less at the gas pump. It’s been a campaign stump speech for years, but finally we’ve had a little relief, and of course our emperor-in-chief has erroneously taken much of the credit for it.

Sorry Barry, but this has nothing to do with your “Clean Energy” scams.

The boom…or lower gas prices are largely credited to the fact that America has become a natural gas powerhouse, increasing domestic supply by 50%.

Technologies like hydraulic fracturing and horizontal drilling are credited in making the U.S. #1 in natural gas productions. Not to mention, the 100K jobs it has created between 2008-2013.

And just think of all the liberals that yell “no to fracking”…would they rather us depend on the Saudis?

But all of this good news could be short-lived, and I’m sorry to have to be the one to break it to you…

Obama is proposing to increase the federal tax on gas:

Office of Management and Budget Director Shaun Donovan said Obama crafted an alternative six-year infrastructure plan because “it just has not seemed like there’s an ability politically to get any consensus around the gas tax. … We’re not going to take anything off the table, but also we’re open to a range of solutions, and hope we get into serious discussions about that.”

Donovan’s comments suggested that if Obama’s pitch to tax overseas corporate profits as an infrastructure revenue stream is not politically viable with lawmakers, the president still sees potential in the embattled gas tax, which has not increased in two decades.

Congressmen in both parties have voiced support for raising the gas tax. In addition, 11 states are considering proposals to do the same thing.

I feel like I’m on the Price is Right, but instead of winning a prize, I have to pay for someone else to enjoy my winnings. Doesn’t make much sense does it?

Naturally, I’d like to call for a nationwide boycott of cars and gas, but since hover-boards are not a viable option, I’m simply left with the feeling that we’ve been screwed again while the fat cats in Washington are laughing their butts off with OUR money.
