• ANIMALS: Boko Haram Kidnapped 500 Women And Children

The Islamic terrorist organization known as “Boko Haram,” which translates to “Western education is forbidden,” has reportedly kidnapped more than 500 women and children in Northern Nigeria.

Locals reported that the militant Islamic group passed through just after troops from Niger and Chad had secured the area; then the kidnapping and murder began.

“They took 506 young women and children. They killed about 50 of them before leaving. We don’t know if they killed others after leaving, but they took the rest with them,” said Souleymane Ali, a local trader who told Reuters in the town.

Earlier this month, Boko Haram declared itself part of the Islamic State, and has a long history of extreme violence since its inception in 2002.

More than 22,000 people have died since 2011 between Nigerian security and Boko Haram and was the inspiration behind the #bringbackourgirls twitter campaign when the group previously kidnapped 200 schoolgirls.
