Or maybe Sharpton was looking for another payday?
Why, yes, yes it does.
On Wednesday, outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder formally announced that no charges will be filed against Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown.
“This morning the Justice Department announced the conclusion of our investigation and released a comprehensive 87-page report documenting our findings and our conclusions that the facts do not support the filing of criminal charges against officer Darren Wilson in this case. Michael brown’s death, though a tragedy, did not involve prosecutable conduct on the part of officer Wilson.”
After smearing a member of the Ferguson police department and ruining his private life as well as his career, Holder finally sets the record “straight.”“This conclusion represents the sound, considered and independent judgment of the expert career prosecutors within the department of justice…This is supported by the facts found.”
It’s funny what happens when you look at a tragic situation in a calm, rational manner, rather than assist in getting the entire country riled up when your own department had the facts all along.
Holder himself had compared Brown’s death to that of Emmett Till’s, a black teenager who was beat to death for flirting with a white girl in 1955.
