• HERE WE GO: Ferguson Officers Shot In ‘Ambush’

After months and months of racial unrest–much of the vitriol being stoked by opportunistic talk show bigots like Al Sharpton and government hacks like Eric Holder–“two police officers in Ferguson, Missouri, were shot and wounded in what officials called an ambush early on Thursday,” Reuters reports.

The two police officers were standing guard outside the Ferguson, Missouri, police department where protesters had gathered to cheer the resignation of Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson.

A widespread manhunt has been launched. The officers, 41-years-old and other 32-years-old, were treated and released from the hospital according to law enforcement officials.

Eric Holder–whose Justice Department recently released a report which concluded that the Ferguson Police Department operates with overwhelming amounts of racial bias– said “Such senseless acts of violence threaten the very reforms that non-violent protesters in Ferguson and around the country have been working towards for the past several months.”

The Golfer-in-Chief chimed in from Twitter, saying:

“This is really an ambush, is what it is,” St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar said. “You can’t see it coming. You don’t understand that it’s going to happen.”

It was just January when two NYPD Officers, Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu, were ambushed and killed in cold blood by a lunatic seeking to even the score for the police deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.

This latest police ambush and shooting in Ferguson is the result of an extremely hateful stream of anti-police rhetoric that has created a climate of hate that has led to attacks against police officers.

Indeed, shooting deaths of American law enforcement officers spiked 56 percent in 2014–that alarming figure includes over a dozen ambush attacks against police.

“I have said all along that we cannot sustain this forever without problems,” Belmar said, in reference to the national spotlight Ferguson has received from a blood-lusting media ever since the police shooting of Michael Brown last August.

Belmar also says his investigators have leads because the shooter used a handgun and shell casings have been recovered, making their search that much easier.

“This is No. 1 priority of St. Louis County police to identify that individual or individuals,” Belmar said.
