• MADNESS: EPA Now Going After Your Backyard BBQ

If you didn’t think that the EPA was a Debbie Downer, get ready, because their latest target is your propane grill. The government agency is moving toward regulating them.

    For real.

The Environmental Protection Agency has granted $15,000 to the University of California to study emissions from residential BBQ grills and develop new, clean-burning ones that will reduce the amount of grease near an open-flame and, allegedly, prevent potential health hazards from the Grillmaster.

    From the EPA:

We expect to limit the overall air pollution PM emissions from barbecuing and to alleviate some of the acute health hazards that a barbecue pit master can experience from inhalation. This technology is intended to reduce air pollution as well as health hazards in Southern California, with potential for global application.

Since the study will end by August 2015, does anyone want to stage a protest outside of the University where we simply just set up a huge tailgate party outside?

Best-case Scenario is you get to piss off a few liberals. Worst-case scenario is you get to make new friends while enjoying a juicy burger.

    It’s a total win-win.
