• OUCH: Bride Calls Off Wedding Because Groom Can’t Add

Of all the things you have to remember for a wedding, making sure your groom can do basic math problems shouldn’t have to be on your list, except for one bride who found out the hard way that her husband was, well, dumb.

According to the BBC, an Indian bride asked the groom to add 15 and 6.

    He replied 17.

She said adios, and refused to marry him because of his answer.

In Indian tradition, most marriages are arranged, and it’s not uncommon for a couple to get married before spending a lot of time together. As the Associated Press tells it, the family of the groom had tried to keep his poor education a secret.

Both sides returned all of the gifts, and I wouldn’t expect to see the groom on Tinder anytime soon.
