A new baby onesie has been pulled off shelves because of overly sensitive people accusing the manufacturer of fat-shaming babies.
Ugh…Ms. Magazine Editor Michele Kort wrote an article calling out Wry Baby for “baby fat-shaming.”
“Even though it was said as a joke … it isn’t a joke, in terms of the reality of girls’ lives, and how they’re fat-shamed from a very young age,” Kort said in an article that has conveniently been taken offline.
Wry Baby released an official statement on the matter, saying, “What we’re trying to do is make the entire parenting experience as fun as humanly possible…We equate having kids with having a good time. Why shouldn’t it be?”
Here’s a pic of the controversial baby onesie. Besides adorable, does anyone think that the backlash is justified? Would you let your kids wear this?
