• Bono: I Pray To Jesus To Know The Will Of God

U2 rock legend Bono is opening up about his faith in God in a way that few entertainers of his status have before.

When asked about his belief in Christ, Bono says he believes Jesus “was the Son of God” and the singer says he finds it “hard to accept that all the millions and millions of lives, half the Earth, for 2,000 years have been touched, have felt their lives touched and inspired by some nutter” running around lying about being the son of God.

Bono says he “prays to get to know the will of God, because then the prayers have more chance of coming true.”

He says he and his family don’t pray in “a very lofty way. When they pray, “it’s just a bunch of us on the bed, usually, we’ve a very big bed in our house. We pray with all our kids. We read the Scriptures, and we pray.”

And on Sunday? “Sometimes if we go to church on Sunday,” Bono says, “We’ll go after church has ended, we’ll go on our own as a family for peace and quiet. And we’ll pray usually for people that we know who are struggling with something.”

Bono also says he has “no problem with miracles. I’m living around them. I am one.”
