• Boston Bomber’s Widow Searched The Internet About Being A Martyr’s Wife

Attorneys are exposing the disturbing Internet searches of Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s widow, seeking to prove Tamerlan was the mastermind behind the attack.

Tamerlan and younger brother Dzhokhar bombed the finish line of the Boston Marathon in 2013, killing three and wounding over 200. Tamerlan was killed during the massive manhunt for the perpetrators following the attack.

The younger Tsarnaev was found guilty of using a weapon of mass destruction and other charges in early April. (RELATED: Boston Bomber Found Guilty [VIDEO])

Dzhokhar’s attorneys are trying to keep the 21 year-old from receiving the death penalty by proving Tamerlan orchestrated the bombing. In addition to Tamerlan’s computer, his widow’s Internet searches are being used as evidence, taking issue over how much prior knowledge she had about the attack.

BuzzFeed reported on searches made on a laptop registered to Katherine Tsarnaev. She reportedly typed, “If your husband becomes a shahid, what are the rewards for you?” Shahid means martyr in Arabic. Search history also indicates Katherine wanted to know the rewards for the wife of a mujahideen or fighter of jihad.
