• Brit Hume: Clintons Are Like ‘Unruly” Children Needing “Strict Supervision”

Before Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer went on MSNBC’s Morning Joe and compared the Clinton’s conduct to the corruption investigations of former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell (R), who was convicted on corruption charges, and Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.), who has been indicted on bribery charges, Fox News’ Brit Hume called the Clinton’s children in need of supervision.

“Having the Clintons in your life is like having a couple of unruly children who left without strict supervision, invariably make a mess. And they’ve made another,” Hume said Monday on Special Report.

Hume, of course is referring to the new revelations found in the forthcoming book Clinton Cash The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich.

Mainstream media publications like the New York Times, POLITICO, Reuters, the Washington Post, among others have reported–and plan to continue to report–on the damning instances of Bill Clinton receiving massive speaking fees from companies and foreign entities that had huge business interests before Hillary Clinton’s State Department.

The liberal retort to all of this has been that Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer doesn’t have a “smoking gun” and can’t “prove” any wrongdoing on the part of the Clintons.

“If you look at former governor of Virginia who was prosecuted, if you look at Sen. Menendez, there was no quid pro quo,” Schweizer said in response to liberals on Tuesday on Morning Joe.

“Yet, they were prosecuted because there were contribution or payments or gifts given to public officials with the perception or the belief that they were going to be given something in exchange,” Schweizer added.

“Eventually Hillary may have to explain and what she says will undoubtedly be incomplete at best,” Hume said. “But it may be enough to let the Clintons muddle through this, as they have so often done before.”

Bitt Hume may be wrong about one thing.

With the Clintons, there’s always another shoe to drop. And with international corruption on this scale, there’s no reason to believe that this story is just going to go away any time soon.
