• College Students Don’t Even Recognize Ronald Reagan

Average college students, apparently, have absolutely no clue who former President Ronald Reagan is.

You would think the 40th president face would be one of the most easily recognizable in politics, but most college students at the University of Maryland were unable identify Reagan when shown his picture.

Only a few managed to get the right answer when Media Research Center’s Dan Joseph approached them with Reagan’s picture.

One young lady guessed that Reagan was “…some kind of president.” A few students suggested he was “Bush’s Dad.” Another thought it was “John Wayne.” Others made wild guesses that included Kenny Rogers and some guy named Fred Moore, but unfortunately, many of the students couldn’t come up with any answer.

“What really makes me want to hang my head and cry is that in the near future many of these intellectually challenged individuals will be politicians in office, running this country,”Joseph said. “One of the ways liberals are able to get away with much of the crap they pull is because they keep people ignorant about history.”

    And he’s got a point.

Those “intellectually challenged individuals”will also be electing politicians who will be running this country.

This tragic commentary on the quality of our education system explains how a liberal like Hillary Clinton could become the next president of the United States. She has the audacity to run for president while battling negative press involving a hidden email server, erased emails, accusations of quid quo pro relationships with foreign leaders while serving as Obama’s Secretary of State, and an overall perception of secrecy and elitism.

She doesn’t care about accountability because she is aware that most of the constituents on whose votes she courts aren’t paying attention to what’s going. The average millennial thinks Benghazi is the name of some dude, admittedly will vote for her just because she is a woman and probably never even heard of Ronald Reagan.
