• Dem. Senator Joe Manchin: Harry Reid’s Leadership ‘Did Not Work’

The Democratic Senator has spent his short time in Washington, D.C. hammering his own side. And in his latest screed, Joe Manchin has set his sights on Harry Reid.

In an appearance on MSNBC’s Morning Joe Manchin started off by saying “Harry’s a good man.” And then Manchin asserted that Harry Reid’s “leadership and the things he thought would work did not. So with that, you just move on.”

Manchin’s money quote comes just weeks after the shameless Senator from Nevada announced that  he’s not going to seek reelection in 2016. Reid has led the Senate Democrats since 2005.

“Me walking away, I think, would be much worse when I have a chance to make a difference,” Manchin said.

Manchin also lashed out at presidential candidates that he says aren’t raising important issues like drug abuse.

“It’s just devastating in my state. It’s killing families,” Manchin said. “This drug culture we have is killing America.”
