• Lindsey Graham: Clinton Donations Don’t “Smell Right”

As news continues to break about Hillary and Bill Clinton’s family foundation hiding millions in foreign donations, Republican lawmakers are starting to call for a federal investigation into the Clinton’s questionable financial dealings.

Former Daily Surge staff writer Matt Schuck interviewed South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham over the weekend in Iowa and asked him about the latest Clinton scandal.

“Somebody needs to look at how the foundation received  money and how he got paid to speak. This is what turns people off,” Graham said. “You got an ex-president raising money for good causes, right? And you got his wife, who is Secretary of State.”

Graham continued to press the issue of Hillary Clinton using her powerful position at the State Department to do favors in exchange for donations, as laid out in the forthcoming book Clinton Cash, deserves more scrutiny.

“Did the people who gave to this foundation—did they get something in return for the giving?,” Graham added. “Did they get an advantage in terms of policy coming out of Secretary Clinton’s State Department? I don’t know, but it sure doesn’t sound right and it doesn’t smell right.”
