• LOL: Watch This Student Cut Off Obama’s Rambling Answer

During the unveiling of a new reading program Thursday at Anacostia Library in southeast Washington, Obama participated in a Q&A secession with a group of kids.

The question and answer session portion of the event was moderated by a student. One question asked of Obama was about how to best overcome writer’s block.

“There’s only one way to overcome writer’s block,” Obama said. “To just write something, it’s not as intimidating as if the page is just blank.”

It’s no secret. Obama is known for rambling on and on while answer a question. And after several minutes of hearing Obama talk, a student moderator cut him off by saying, “I think you’ve sort of covered everything about that question.”

Obama, who looked embarrassed as he was clearly caught off guard, laughed off the student’s interruption.

That kid, whether he realizes it or not, just did something that a countless number of reporters and debate moderators wish they could do.
