Pentagon: Bible, Constitution, and Declaration of Independence are All Sexist

Did you know the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bible are all sexist? That’s what the federal government is saying.

The reason sexism exists today, according to the Pentagon, is because of those three cherished texts.

A presentation prepared by the Defense Equal Opportunity Manageent Institute whose mission is to give “a world class-human relations education claims the Bible is a historical cause of sexism because it has sexist quotes. More than 2,000 federal employees have already taken the course.

The Declaration of Independence perpetuates sexism, according to the course, because the document refers only to “all men” and not “men and women.”

The Constitution is a root cause of sexism because “slaves and women were not included until later in history,” the Pentagon argues. Members of the Armed forces take an oath to defend the Constitution, therefore the text is an “historical influence that allows sexism to continue.”

The courses—“Racism,” “Sexism” and “Prejudice & Discrimination” are offered online, but are currently unavailable.

Lt. Cmdr. Nate Christensen, a Defense Department spokesman, said “DEOMI online materials are periodically pulled to review to ensure accuracy and relevance. The racism, sexism and Prejudice & Discrimination are currently undergoing that review process.”
