• Rand Paul Slams Debbie Wasserman Schultz: Even Pro Choice People Aren’t Ok With 7, 8, and, 9 Pound Abortions

Earlier yesterday Republican presidential contender Rand Paul slapped around reporters sympathetic to liberal causes.

Paul challenged the media to hold pro-abortion Democrats to the same standard that they hold pro-life Republicans on issues like when it’s acceptable for the government to intervene with a woman’s pregnancy.

Rand Paul called out the entire Democratic Party and specifically Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

The very pro-abortion Congresswoman from Florida thought she would up Paul’s ante and responded to him with a pointed press release:

As CNN’s senior reporter Chris Moody points out in the tweet above, Debbie Wasserman Schultz is essentially saying that the decision to kill a baby–no matter how far along the pregnancy is–should be left up to a woman and her doctor.

Wasserman Schultz’s logic here is mindbogglingly ironic considering the recent controversy over religious freedom laws that call for no government involvement when it’s not necessary.

Applying Wasserman Schultz’s logic on abortion to the need for religious freedom laws, the decision of whether someone should bake a wedding cake for a gay couple should be left up to the cake shop owner and the customer, “Without government getting involved. Period. End of story.”

“It sounds like her answer is yes,” Paul said, “that she’s okay with killing a seven pound baby.”

“But even most of my friends who are pro-choice will tell me they’re not okay with seven and eight and nine pound abortions,” Rand Paul told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer. “You know there’s a bit of doubt and discussion earlier in the pregnancy, but Debbie’s position–which I guess is the Democrat Party’s position–that an abortion all the way up until the day of birth would be fine; I think most pro-choice people would be a little uncomfortable with that.”

Of course, Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the pro-baby killing Left love to say that they don’t won’t government involved in abortions expect for forcing taxpayers to subsidize them.

I just hope that other elected pro-life politicians and commentators are taking notes from Rand Paul on how to beat back these despicable, death cult barbarians.
