• Rep. Gutiérrez: A President Jeb Bush Would Pass Amnesty

    During a recent event at The University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics, Rep. Luis Gutiérrez (D-IL) took the opportunity to champion his open borders stance.

    When who he thought was the easiest Republican presidential candidate to possibly work with in passing a comprehensive immigration reform bill into law, Gutiérrez said Jeb Bush.

    “We would have to stay with the Bush family,” Gutiérrez said to the crowd. 

    Last month, Gutiérrez made waves when he unveiled his “Don’t Deport Me” pamphlet that are meant to encourages illegal immigrants to carry a card that asks law enforcement not to deport or detain them.

    “I created this toolkit for you to protect yourself from deportation,” Gutierrez said in a explanatory video.
