• Well, Well: MSNBC Hosts Don’t Pay Their ‘Fair Share’ In Taxes

At least four of MSNBC’s high paid hosts, all of who regularly call for higher taxes on the rich and earn a pretty sweet 1% living, are tax delinquents and have tax liens or warrants filed against them.

Toure Neblett, co-host of The Cycle, reportedly owes more than $59,000 in back taxes, according to public records. New York issued a state tax warrant to Neblett, for $46,862.68,” in September 2013. Six months later, the state issued him a second warrant for $12,849.

Yet, Neblett tweeted in January 2014, “Regressive taxation & tax-avoidance & union crushing & the financial corruption of legislation has fueled inequality more than hard work.” He also criticized Republican politicians in 2012, saying they were “all afraid to vote for a modest tax increase of people who can totally afford it.”

New York filed a $4,948.15 tax warrant last month against Joy-Ann Reid, who hosted MSNBC’s The Reid Report until earlier this year and now serves as managing editor of theGrio.com. Reid has called taxes on the wealthy “a basic fairness argument,” and has also argued for “smart spending and smart tax increases” to create economic growth.

Al Sharpton, host of PoliticsNation on MSNBC owes as much as $4.5 million in taxes, penalties, and interest, a sum he disputes.

Melissa Harris-Perry, who hosts an MSNBC show named after herself, owes approximately $70,000 in delinquent taxes, according to a federal lien filed in April 2015. She reportedly made a $21,721 payment toward that debt on Tax Day.

“We actually do better as a country when we spread the wealth around,” Harris-Perry has said. She has also quoted Obama, calling income inequality “the fundamental threat to the American dream.”

Despite their alleged tax problems, MSNBC continues to allow them to use airwaves to spew far-left views and complain about how wealthy individuals and corporations who don’t pay their taxes.
