Aaron Hernandez Reportedly Disciplined For Prison Fight

Former tight end for the New England Patriots and convicted murderer Aaron Hernandez has reportedly landed in trouble for a gang related prison brawl.

Hernandez is under disciplinary action from Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center after his participation in a gang fight, reports CNN. A source inside the prison tells CNN Hernandez served as a lookout while one prisoner went into the cell of another.

The source says the two inmates, who are believed to be gang affiliated, got into a brawl that landed all three with disciplinary action.

This isn’t Hernandez first rodeo when it comes to fights behind bars. In February of 2014, he fought with a detainee at the North Dartmouth Jail while awaiting his murder trial.

Hernandez also awaits trial for murder charges pertaining to a July 2012 drive-by shooting at a Boston nightclub. A date for the trial could be set this week.

Hernandez was convicted of life in prison without parole in April for the murder of his fiancee’s sister’s boyfriend. Hernandez, who was also found guilty on firearm and ammunition charges, was raking in a $10 million dollar salary with the patriots before the murder of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd.
