A Fox News Reporter got into a physical confrontation with Al Sharpton as he tried to stop the reporter from asking Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake questions.
Fox News Leland Vittert said he tried to query Mayor Rawlings-Blake about the rioting over the past few days in the wake of Freddie Gray’s death and the allegations that she gave a stand-down order to the police Monday night.“What do you have to say to the number of officers injured, and what do you have to say to businesses that were looted during a reported “stand d
Rawlings-Blake and Sharpton ignored him.
“We can’t ask questions?” Vittert asked. “You are a public official and we can’t ask questions?”
“You will have the opportunity,” Sharpton said, acting as the mayor’s spokesperson.
“Then you’ll answer our questions?” he pressed.“At the press conference, we will answer all questions,” Sharpton said putting his hands up as Vittert tailed them. A member of the mayor’s security detail stepped between Vittert and the mayor and began pushing him away.
Sharpton threw up his arm as well and gave a light shove. “Relax! Relax!” he said when Vittert recoiled and yelled, “Whoa!”
Sharpton lied, the mayor snuck out the back and never took questions.
