• Boehner Blasts Reporter For Amtrak Funding Question

Tuesday night brought a terrible Amtrak train derailment in Philadelphia.

We now know that the Amtrak train that derailed may have very well been caused by the train’s excessive 100 miles per hour speed just before it went off the rails. The derailment and crash killed 8 and injured another 200.

The blood was still warm in the bodies of the deceased when TV idiots began using the horrific crash as an excuse to make arguments for “more infrastructure spending” and more government.

“By 6:33 a.m., Joe Scarborough, the host of “Morning Joe,” was already waving the white flag of surrender to Big Government Ghouls in the form of a white piece of paper filled with non sequiturs about the amount of money China and Barbados spend on infrastructure,” notes Breitbart’s John Nolte. “By 6:40 am. co-host Willie Geist was offering lay-up questions to Big Government Democrats like Ed Rendell about “what DC can do” about America’s infrastructure. Somewhere in-between, co-host Mika Brzezinski is going on and on about how Amtrak passenger cars look like something out of the 1950s.”

And that despicable drum was beaten for hours on by a countless number of media members.

Fast forward to Thursday John Boehner’s weekly press briefing. Boehner was asked by one of these insane reporters if he had a response to congressional Democrats’ complaints that the Amtrak crash was the result of insufficient funding.

“Are you really going to ask such a stupid question?” Boehner yelled in the middle of the reporter’s sentence. “Listen, you know they started this yesterday ‘It’s all about funding, It’s all about funding.’ Well Obviously it’s not about funding. The train was going twice the speed limit. Adequate funds were there. No money’s been cut from rail safety, and the house passed a bill earlier this spring to re-authorize Amtrak and authorize a lot of these programs. It’s hard for me to imagine that people take the bait on some of the nonsense that gets spewed around here. Thanks.”

Well, John you wouldn’t be surprised by the media’s filth if you didn’t spend so much time sucking up to   them.

But even if you took theses idiots at the word and ran with the argument that Amtrak trains are crashing because of a lack of funding, the entire rail system is wholly owned and operated by the government, it loses billions a year to the private market.
