• Latino BBQ Owners Will Host a ‘White Appreciation Day’

Here’s a story that’s sure to put several liberals into a weird political pretzel.

On June 11, the Hispanic owners of a barbecue restaurant plan to offer a 10 percent discount to all white customers and no one else.

Rubbin Buttz BBQ owners Edgar Antillon and Miguel Jimenez, said the whole thing was originally a joke reports 9News.com. But now they say there are prepared to go though with the campaign.

“We have a whole month for black history month,” said Antillon, “We have a whole month for Hispanic heritage month, so we thought the least we could do was offer one day to appreciate white Americans.”

And of course, there are humorless blowhards coming out against the effort.

“It’s a perpetuation of racism,” said Ricardo Romero, a civil rights activist and community organizer in the region. “It’s wrong. If you’re going to give a discount, give it to the whole community.”

I can just smell those smoking BBQ liberal tears from here.
