• NBC: Hillary Clinton Campaign Taking a Pounding Over Foreign Donation Scandal

Weeks and weeks of bad press over corruption allegations at the Clinton Foundation are starting to negatively affect Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, according to NBC News Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent Andrea Mitchell.

Mitchell says new poll numbers and the defensive stance the Clinton campaign has taking is all evidence of the “pounding” Team Clinton is taking over the revelations about unseemly activity invoking the Clintons’ finances.

It “is taking its toll” on the Clintons Mitchell said on Tuesday’s NBC Nightly News. “The Clinton campaign is working overtime tonight to hit back at allegations being made in a highly anticipated new book out today called Clinton Cash, about her family foundation, her money and where it all came from.”

“Her numbers,” Mitchell said referencing some horrifically bad poll numbers out from a new Wall Street Journal/NBC survey, “have gone down on trust and honesty. 25%, only 25% think she’s trustworthy. Clinton’s polls are holding up against potential Republicans. She remains ahead of all of them.”

    For now.
