• Pentagon Employees Using Tax Dollars To Gamble, Buy Hookers

    Here we go again!

Just over a month ago, we told you about the DEA agents who were throwing hookers parties on the taxpayers dime. If you thought things couldn’t possibly get worse, you were wrong.

The latest filthy-filled scandal to come out of the Obama administration has to do with Pentagon employees using government credit cards to gamble and buy hookers, according to a brand new audit report.

Here are the sad details from Politico :

A Defense Department audit has found that a significant number of Pentagon employees used their government credit cards to gamble and pay for “adult entertainment” — findings that are expected to lead department officials to issue stern new warnings.

The audit of “Government Travel Charge Transactions” by the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General, which is to be made public in coming weeks, found that both civilian and military employees used the credit cards at casinos and for escort services and other adult activities — particularly in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.

A Pentagon official briefed on some of the findings stressed that the federal government did not necessarily pay the charges; holders of the cards pay their own bills and then submit receipts to be reimbursed for expenses related to their government business.

The official said that the employees may have used the government cards for gambling and escort services in order to shield the charges from spouses.

This sad story is becoming all too common.

In March, we reported on how Drug Enforcement Administration agents were caught attending sex parties with hookers while stationed overseas. That report, conducted by the Justice Department inspector general, only investigated the DEA employees from 2009 to 2012.

U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) employees also suck, too. USDA workers reportedly spent $192.2 million everywhere from bowling alleys to barbershops.

When you hand government employees taxpayer credit cards, you’re only inviting this kind of corruption and abuse.
