The country’s largest abortion provider celebrated Mother’s Day by reminding the world some women are glad they had abortions.
Planned Parenthood promoted abortion this past Mother’s Day with four choices of Mother’s Day “cards” that depict women who have chosen abortion but also happily carried pregnancies to term.Three of the four cards featured black families –perhaps as a way to pay homage to the founder of Planned Parenthood, the racist eugenicist Margaret Sanger.
One of the cards Mother’s Day card relates the story of a woman named Shawanna became pregnant at the age of 17. After considering her circumstances, “she decided that terminating her pregnancy was the best decision for her at the time.” Lovely stuff for moms to think about on their special day.
Shawanna became pregnant again later on, as a financially stable adult with a career, and this time brought the child to term. ‘This time,’ she says, ‘I was financially stable and emotionally ready to become a parent. This time, my choice was to keep the pregnancy.’”
Another cites a woman named Chloe, beaming with joy for the Supreme Court’s decision to impose abortion-on-demand for the country.
A third allegedly recounts the experience of a 45-year-old mother from Nairobi Kenya, who “has never used family planning, but wants her daughter to be able to use it to have more control over her future.”You would think pro-choice activists would probably take at least that one day a year off, but that is just not the case.
