• SICK: Liberals Blame Republicans For Amtrak Crash

Shortly after the crash of an Amtrak near Philadelphia on Tuesday night, liberals blamed the accident on Republicans for failing to fund infrastructure spending and increasing the federal train agency budget.

The actual cause of the wreck seems to be unrelated to funding. An automatic train control system designed to prevent speeding was not in place where Amtrak Train 188 crashed, killing seven people and injuring more than 200.

Investigators of Amtrak’s derailment say they are focusing on reports that the train was traveling more than twice the 50-mile-an-hour speed limit when it entered a sharp curve.

The facts revealed about the incident, however, are irrelevant to liberals who quickly politicized the tragedy and were eager to blame the occurrence on Republicans, rather than showing concern for the victims who were injured, died, or the families who are now mourning.

Hundreds on Twitter claimed that the expenditure of over $1 billion per year in Amtrak subsidies was insufficient to prevent this tragedy and accused Republicans of causing the crash:

Singer Cher also criticized Republicans and Amtrak’s funding after the trains crash.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio didn’t need to wait to see any facts about the crash either before knowing that the solution to preventing another fatal accident is more money:

Some how cutting AMTRAK subsidies in the future is to blame for a train wreck in the past:

Donald trump also chimed in without facts, blaming infrastructure for the crash:

The only one to fix the infrastructure of our country is me – roads, airports, bridges. I know how to build, pols only know how to talk!

The editor of the liberal Politico, Blake Housnell, pointed out that the derailment just happens to fall on a eve when the House will discuss Republicans budget cuts to Amtrak funding:

This is proof that liberals politicize tragic events in order to slam conservatives and push their progressive agenda. This tragedy should draw Congressional attention on train safety, not on pumping more money into transportation.
