NPR published this correction Thursday that you may have to read more than once to appreciate, or maybe just to understand.
The news organization posted a clarification at the bottom of this story about the first warm blooded fish ever found. It said:

That number would still seem to be wrong, though, because 5 degrees Celsius is roughly 41 degrees Fahrenheit.“The fish had an average muscle temperature about 5 degrees C [roughly 9 degrees Fahrenheit] above the surrounding water while swimming about 150 to 1,000 feet below the surface,” NOAA says.
