• WATCH: David Letterman Burns George Stephanopoulos

In one of the last monologues that he’ll ever perform as the host of the Late Show, David Letterman took aim at George Stephanopoulos, the embattled ABC anchor and former Clinton spokesman who failed to disclose a $75,000 Clinton Foundation donation among other close ties to the neferious charity.

“Tomorrow is our final show,” Letterman said on Tuesday to a displeased crowd. “A lot of people think I’m retiring.”

“I’ve been kind of telling a fib,” Letterman added, “I have been forced to leave the job because I gave $75,000 to the Clinton Foundation. Sorry!”

Former-Clinton White House Hatchet man and current ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos came under intense fire last week for his failure to disclose a $75,000 donation to the Clinton Foundation. He’s issued several weak apologies.

David Letterman isn’t the only TV personality mocking George Stephanopoulos. And he certainly won’t be the last.
