• Well, Well: Trump Gave At Least $100K to Clinton Foundation

Potential 2016 GOP presidential candidate, Donald J. Trump, has donated at least $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation, records show.

The real estate mogul is listed on the Clinton Foundation’s donor page as having given somewhere between $100,001 and $250,000 to the organization.

His daughter Ivanka Trump is also listed as a donor who gifted somewhere between $5001 and $10,000.

“This list is comprised of those who made contributions or grants to advance the work of any part of the Clinton Foundation, including the Clinton Global Initiative, and indicates cumulative lifetime giving through 2014,” the website says.

The website does not specify when the Trumps donated, nor the exact amount of their contributions.

The ironic part of Trump’s donation is he has repeatedly slammed Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton for her lack of transparency concerning the foundation, but he neglected to tell the world about his own donations to the foundation.

Author Peter Schweizer sparked interest in the Clinton Foundation’s finances with his new book Clinton Cash that alleges that then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton used her political power to grant favors to foreign donors who contributed to the foundation in return.

The Clinton family has denied any illicit activity involving the charitable organization bearing their name while Trump has criticized the Clintons to no avail.

“If this was a Republican sitting right there, this would absolutely be considered illegal,” Trump said last month of the foundation’s activities on Fox News’s “Fox and Friends.”“This is about jail time; this isn’t about the voters.”

“If this were Richard Nixon or a Republican, if this were almost anybody, there would have been an investigation already,” Trump said during a New Hampshire campaign stop. “This is criminal. What she did was terrible. She used her office to benefit herself and her family and everybody knows it.”

Perhaps the donation shouldn’t be so surprising considering Trump also donated to Hillary Clinton’s New York Senate campaign, before selling himself as conservative firebrand.
