  • White House Grilled Over ISIS: This is What SUCCESS Looks Like?

The Middle East, particularly Iraq and Syria, are crumbling under the weight and force of the murder spree being perpetuated by the Islamic State.

And no matter how bloody the battle becomes, the Obama administration refuses to admit that its current strategy isn’t “progressing” or “degrading” ISIS like President Obama promised it would.

White House press secretary Josh Earnest continued to call ISIS’ takeover of Ramadi, one of the largest Iraqi cities, a minor “setback.”

“There’s no question the ISIL completing their takeover of Ramadi is a setback,” Earnest said Thursday.

Earnest insisted that the Islamic State is “not succeeding in projecting their power” and in the “areas where they project their power is shrinking.”

No matter how much Team Obama wants that talking point to be true, reality tells a different story altogether.

Here’s a map showing you just how much ISIS has spread as Obama’s U.S.-led air strikes campaign fails to secure the country and drive out Islamic State fighters:

“ISIL seems to have the advantage,” Col. Steve Warren, a Pentagon spokesman said according to the Wall Street Journal. “They will use this for their own propaganda purposes, but it doesn’t give them a significant tactical advantage.”
