If you read a headline that said a major news organization published a photograph that depicts a politician facing down the barrel of a gun, it would be very easy for you to concluded that that politician belonged to the Republican party.
And you would be absolutely correct in your assumption.Associated Press photog Charlie Neibergall is the jerk responsible for finding just the right angle of Senator Ted Cruz’s head and a poster of a handgun.
Here’s the photo that Neibergall and his crappy paper chose to run with:
This idiot would never pull this crap on, say, Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. And his crappy overlords at the Associated Depress would never allow such a photo to be published.
Ted Cruz just happens to be in the wrong political party, which makes him a safe target for this kind of filth. The AP’s director of media relations Paul Colford released the statement below in an attempt to buffer the avalanche of much-deserved scrutiny his propaganda paper was receiving from conservatives online:
Presidential candidate Ted Cruz was shown in a series of 14 photos taken by an Associated Press photographer at a ‘Celebrate the 2nd Amendment’ event Saturday afternoon, held at a shooting range in Johnston, Iowa. Five of the photos published by AP included images of guns seen on a wall in the background so that it appeared a pistol was pointed at Sen. Cruz’s head. The images were not intended to portray Sen. Cruz in a negative light.
Of course those images were meant to “portray Sen. Cruz in a negative light,” if not to make some sort of ironic political point.
Worst of all, this Associated Press hack didn’t even apologize for the photo. He didn’t apologize because he nor the people who encompass the leadership of the AP possess the balls to apologize when they’ve been caught and called out for their bias.
These mainstream media loons also lack the ability to fill shame when they embarrass themselves and their once-honored profession.Send this to a friend
