Despite Obamacare causing massive spikes in emergency room wait times in California, state’s lawmakers remained committed to their plan to continue to spend other people’s money filling up hospitals on individuals who broke the law to come to America.
The California Legislature passed a budget plan Tuesday that will include funding for health insurance for the state’s ever-increasing population of undocumented and low-income immigrant children.
The plan will be managed by California’s already bankrupt Medicaid program, known as Medi-Cal. The Medi-Cal expansion is expected to cost $132 million a year, but we all know it will far exceed that number.
California is already in the process of issuing over 200,000 driver’s licenses to undocumented immigrants.
“This is the best budget we’ve seen in years,” said Assembly Speaker Toni Atkins, a San Diego Democrat.
Free healthcare isn’t free. And Atkins likes California’s new budget because it uses taxpayer dollars to buy votes for him and his corny colleagues.
