• DUMMIES: The Government Sent Anthrax to Itself

This really is a sad story.

The Defense Department revealed Tuesday that it inadvertently sent sample of anthrax to as many as three countries and at least twelve states. Worse of all the, Defense Department confirmed that it has know idea how many more countries or states may have received the lethal bacteria.

The first report of accidental samples of live anthrax being mistakenly shipped out came from an Army lab in Utah. The Pentagon’s admission Tuesday was just the latest embarrassment the federal government found itself grappling with.

While conducting a large-scale sting operation, undercover government agents managed to smuggle weapons, explosives, and fake drugs through TSA security checkpoints at several of America’s largest and busiest airports.

According to a new bombshell report made public Monday, on 67 out of 70 attempts, undercover agents were able to sneak dangerous objects passed agents of the government outfit tasked specifically to stop such activities.

Investigation into both of these troubling scandals is ongoing. But it’s safe to assume that few if any blockheaded bureaucrats will be fired and these kinds of careless atrocities will keep happening.

    Remember the ebola fiasco?
