Louis Farrakhan told a crowd of hundreds at the Metropolitan AME Church in Washington, DC on Wednesday that white people don’t care about the nine people who killed in the South Carolina shootings.
“White folks march with you because they don’t want you upsetting the city,” he said in reference to protesting against the South Carolina shootings. “They don’t give a damn about them nine.”He said when police took suspected shooter Dylann Roof to Burger King they praised him.
“You did a good job. Kill all them [bleep,]” Farrakhan claimed the police told Roof.
He also chimed in on the confederate flag debate.
“I don’t know what the hell the fight is about over the Confederate flag. We need to put the American flag down. We’ve caught as much hell under that as the Confederate flag,” he declared. “Who are we fighting today? It’s the people that carry the American flag
“What the hell is the use of us paying allegiance to a flag under which we get no justice?”His remarks were met by cheers and applause.
Religious leaders from various background joined Farrakhan to talk about the Millions for Justice Mobilization taking place in D.C. in October.
