• Rush Limbaugh Rips Republicans For Passing Obama Trade

Team Obama took an embarrassing blow last week when Democrats in Congress came together to vote against giving the president fast track authority on the Trans-pacific Partnership trade agreement–a 12-nation deal to link 40% of the world’s economy.

But Thursday, in a stunning move of weakness and betrayal, John Boehner instructed his spineless Republican caucus to pass fast track legislation that will give Obama authority he wants to negotiate the massive Pacific trade deal.

After the vote, Rush Limbaugh tore into the Republicans in Congress for passing the deal.

“The House Republicans are working overtime to help Obama pass this Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal, and it is a sellout of Republican voters,” Limbaugh said Thursday.

The Republicans’ vote was “a sellout of Republican voters,” he said. “This is actually one of the most amazing things. The Democrats have worked very hard to defeat this, and I know a lot of people who have said to me ‘Rush, do you realize the debt of gratitude we owe the Democrat Party for saving this countries sovereignty because they stopped this trade deal.’”

“Friends of mine who believe that it was the Democrats who saved the day on this thing by defeating it,” Limbaugh added. “Here you have the Republicans working overtime to help Obama pass this thing.”
