  • Ted Cruz on Deflate-Gate: Tom Brady Was Framed and Hillary Clinton Did It

    When it comes to the dramatic ordeal surrounding the improper amount of air in New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s footballs, Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz says he has inside information about who did it.

    At a campaign event over the weekend in Massachusetts, the Republican presidential contender joked that he was willing to “pander” to the crowd on the “Deflate-Gate” scandal.

    “Let me start by saying, Tom Brady was framed,” Cruz told the roaring crowd.

    “And I will say this,” Cruz added, “I have it on good authority that Hillary Clinton did it.”

    New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was slapped with a four game suspension after an investigation found that he was aware that improperly deflated footballs were being used during last year’s AFC Championship game.
