• The Pope is Now ATTACKING Weapon Makers: You Can’t Call Yourself Christian

After coming out as a full-fledged climate nut, the Pope’s liberalism is now in full bloom.

Last week, writing in his encyclical on “global warming,” the Pope asked people to “change their lifestyles” as a means to slow “rising sea levels” so we can avoid a global warming catastrophe due “mostly” to human action.

And now, believe it or not, the Pope has set his sights on people who make and invest in the weapons industry.

Here’s a summary from Reuters of the Holy one’s latest controversial comments:

     – People who manufacture weapons or invest in weapons industries are hypocrites if they call themselves Christian, Pope Francis said on Sunday.

Francis issued his toughest condemnation to date of the weapons industry at a rally of thousands of young people at the end of the first day of his trip to the Italian city of Turin.

“If you trust only men you have lost,” he told the young people in a long, rambling talk about war, trust and politics after putting aside his prepared address.

“It makes me think of … people, managers, businessmen who call themselves Christian and they manufacture weapons. That leads to a bit a distrust, doesn’t it?” he said to applause.

He also criticized those who invest in weapons industries, saying “duplicity is the currency of today … they say one thing and do another.”

Sure, past Popes have been political. But Pope Francis is turning out to be a radical leftist more than the perennial proselytizer for Christ.

Pope Francis supports a Palestinian state. We’ve already discussed his ridiculous stance on global warming. And now he’s lashing out against the weapons industry?

The Pope also said that the “Great Powers” of the world didn’t do enough to stop the Holocaust. Given his statements about weapons–the people who make them and invest in that industry–I wonder if the Pope thinks nice words and kind thoughts would’ve defeated Hitler and the Nazis?
