Hillary Clinton’s campaign Twitter account tweeted, then quickly deleted a photo of the Democratic presidential candidate shaking hands with a white man who appears to have “white power” tattoos.
The man greeting Clinton in the photo has the word “white” tattooed on his outstretched arm.The @HillaryClinton account initially tweeted the photo on Tuesday alongside a quote by Clinton.
The quote read: “I think we are a nation that really believes in a helping hand, in the generosity of connecting with friends, neighbors and strangers to give them chances they might not otherwise have.”
The photo was copied and retweeted before the Clinton campaign took down the tweet.
