Someone Is Trolling Walker HARD With These Domain Names

Someone purchased the domain names readyforwalker.org and readyforwalker.com in April, and is trolling Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s presidential campaign by linking the first to a socialist magazine and the second to Planned Parenthood.

Online data shows the same user purchased both domains in early April, but the user’s identity is blocked. Walker officially entered the presidential race Monday.

Readyforwalker.com redirects to the online home of the political arm of Planned Parenthood — the Planned Parenthood Action Fund. Asked if Planned Parenthood purchased the domain, a spokeswoman for Planned Parenthood could not confirm or deny, but said “no one in the office has heard of that.”

The group recently released two statements slamming Walker’s pro-life record, after he signed a 20-week abortion ban into law last week. (RELATED: Walker Fends Off Criticism He’s Not Pro-Life)

Readyforwalker.org redirects to Jacobinmag.com, the home of a magazine that describes itself as “a leading voice of the American left, offering socialist perspectives on politics, economics, and culture,” and boasts a readership of about 600,000 a month.

Jacobin’s editor and publisher Bhaskar Sunkara told The Daily Caller News Foundation the site has confirmed one of its readers purchased the domain name and redirected viewers to Jacobin, but did not reveal the reader’s identity.

The domain purchases followed a series of hard hitting reports on Walker from the left, such as the threat his dog allergy poses to his campaign. (RELATED: Walker Uses WaPo Gotcha Questions To Fundraise)

The Walker campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
