• Stephen Baldwin Nails It On Why The Donald Is SURGING In The Polls

Actor Stephen Baldwin explained why he believes Donald Trump would make a great president during his appearance on “CNN Tonight.”

“Trump’s words on illegal aliens crossing the border, from Mexico being killers and rapists, came out the wrong way,” Baldwin told host Don Lemon, “but what he said has now ripped the scab off of that issue. Everybody’s talking about it.”

Trump won’t apologize, Baldwin said, because that’s not who he is.

“I think he’d make a great president,” he said. “He’s not a politician. He doesn’t care what anybody thinks. That’s why he’s surging in the polls. He is saying what he thinks.”

Baldwin was one of the famous contestants fired by Trump on his now-cancelled reality show ‘Celebrity Apprentice,’ said Trump has lived the American dream and truly wants to see others achieve.

“I think that if Donald Trump ever thought he had a chance before, he probably really thought, ‘Oh, it’s too risky of a bet,” Baldwin said. “Now he’s really got a chance. Now the table is set. Now this is the perfect storm that actually a guy like him could win.”

Lemon asked if Trump’s rhetoric is hurting the Republican Party.

“I don’t think he cares,” Baldwin said. “Everybody else running for the GOP right now, everybody is going to be politically correct. Not Donald Trump, and I honestly really think voters and Americans are looking at this guy saying it’s refreshing to hear somebody not be a wuss, not be a politician and really say what they think. Now, whether you like what he has to say is something else.”
