• There’s a CREEPY Michael Brown Art Exhibit on Display in Chicago

A new Chicago art exhibit shows a life-size installation of Michael Brown’s body lying lifeless, face down on the floor surrounded by orange cones and police tape.

The exhibit is being presented at Andre Guichard’s art gallery. It has been condemned by Michael Brown’s father, and has garnered some scrutiny and massive amount of media attention.

Ti-Rock Moore, the artist who created the Michael Brown exhibit, says she was “conveying the denial of white privilege . . . the unearned advantages I was born with because of the color of my skin . . .”

Moore says she has “great regrets” that Michael Brown’s father wasn’t told about the exhibit showing his son’s death.

The Michael Brown exhibit is part of the Gallery Guichard called “Confronting Truths: Wake Up!”

That’s an interesting name seeing as how I can find no literature on Michael Brown’s particular exhibit explaining how his death was the product of his punching Officer Darren Williams in the face after a failed attempt to disarm him.

This disgusting Michael Brown exhibit is a sad attempt to whitewash the accounts that lead to his death, which include him robbing a convenient store and running from a police officer.

That’s the truth that should be confronted here. This exhibit isn’t art. It’s propaganda. White privilege didn’t kill Michael Brown on that day in August. Michael Brown’s commitment to thuggery and lawlessness lead to his death. Had Michael Brown simply complied with Officer Wilson, he’d still be alive today.

The exhibit, which Brown’s mother Lesley McSpadden supports, will run through August 10, the day after the one-year anniversary of Brown’s death.
