• Trump: Boycott Pro-Illegal Alien Macy’s, ‘They Folded Like Dogs’

GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump continues to dominate the news and the news cycle.  He is not backing down.

Macy’s said it was snubbing Trump because of the “disparaging characterizations” he made about Mexican illegal immigrants during his campaign launch.

“We are disappointed and distressed by recent remarks about immigrants from Mexico. We do not believe the disparaging characterizations portray an accurate picture of the many Mexicans, Mexican Americans and Latinos who have made so many valuable contributions to the success of our nation,” Macy’s said.

The billionaire tycoon called for a boycott of Macy’s on Wednesday after the retail company said it would drop his products.

He immediately blasted his former business partners in an official statement, saying Macy’s, as well as NBC, dropped him at the first sign of trouble and he sees that as a sign they “support illegal immigration, which is totally detrimental to the fabric of our once great country.”

Trump addressed Macy’s cutting ties with him during his appearance on CNN:

[Macy’s CEO] Terry Lundgren folded under pressure.  He called me.  He said, “Gee whiz!” You know, he’s under a lot of pressure.  And, you know, I guess… Who knows?  I mean, they fold under pressure.  That’s the problem with our country.  Everybody folds under pressure. And that’s what they did.  They did a total fold.  And that’s okay with me.  It’s okay with me.  It’s a very small business.  Let them do what they want to do.  I’ve had this all my life.  You have to ride it through.  Macy’s was unable to handle pressure.  They folded like dogs.

He also attacked Macy’s in a series of tweets for being “weak on border security.”
