The streets of Los Angeles are covered with Donald Trump street art in advance of Trump’s speech to Hollywood conservatives on Friday night.
Trump has become the center of a new art campaign, courtesy of the proactive street artist who goes by the name Sabo.Thousands of people of LA walk up to fake parking tickets on their car’s windshield featuring a picture of Trump in place of a stamp. The tickets denounce crimes committed by undocumented immigrants in “sanctuary cities.”
The faux citation also includes statistics of immigrant crime and an image of the young woman who was allegedly shot by a Mexican immigrant who was deported five times.
Sabo also posted works around the city depicting a family of immigrants crossing the border in silhouette above the words “Undocumented Democrats say Dump Trump.”
Another poster depicts a crucified Trump surrounded by graphic references to the various business partners who have cut ties with him since he described most Mexican illegal immigrants as drug dealers and rapists.
Trump will address a group known as Friends of Abe Friday night, a secretive organization of Hollywood conservatives, guard their identities for fear of being an outcast of liberal Hollywood. They have hosted Rand Paul, Mike Huckabee, Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina in asstion this month.
The Coalition for Humane Immigrants Rights of Los Angeles (CHIRLA) has plans to protest Trump during his Los Angeles visit.
Sabo identifies as conservative on his personal website and has become known for tackling political issues with his hard-hitting, politically incorrect art.
His career highlights include works tackling abortion, Benghazi, gay issues, the 2nd Amendment, and a slew of Democratic politicians.
Sabo depicted Hillary Clinton in an Elizabethan gown with a tiara on her head on images posted along Motor Avenue in Los Angeles a day prior to Clinton’s formal presidential campaign announcement in April. He is best known for his posters of Sen Ted Cruz (R-TX) as a tattooed smoker and of Rep.
