• Trump Threatens to Do the One Thing That Will Guarantee Hillary Clinton Winning the White House

The whispers of a Donald Trump third party presidential run may soon become shouts.

Donald Trump, to his credit, has, so far, proven himself to be an exceptional salmon and presidential candidate. He’s committed some missteps, but concedes quickly that he’s not a politician and will speak truth to power. It’s working for him, again, so far.

But even with all of the success Trump as garnered running as a Republican, there have been consistent peeps about him running as an Independent if he doesn’t win the GOP nomination. I’ve tried to ignore the rumors circulating about Donald Trump’s plan to win the White House as a fierce third party candidate.

But now it seems that my worst fear could actually become a real life nightmare.

    From Politico:

Even if he isn’t the Republican nominee for 2016, don’t count on Donald Trump to go quietly. If the Republican National Committee does not treat him fairly during the primary season, he says, the chances he will run as a third-party candidate will “absolutely” increase.

“The RNC has not been supportive. They were always supportive when I was a contributor. I was their fair-haired boy,” he told The Hill in an interview published Thursday morning. “The RNC has been, I think, very foolish.”

Trump has led several recent national polls among Republican voters, though a recent Quinnipiac University survey this week showed him with severely negative approval ratings in the swing states of Colorado, Iowa and Virginia.

The billionaire business mogul said that “so many want me to” run as a third-party candidate if he does not win the GOP nomination.
“I’ll have to see how I’m being treated by the Republicans,” he said, adding that if “they’re not fair, that would be a factor” in deciding whether he would make a third-party run.

Trump has to be smarter than this, no?

I mean, even the most uninitiated politico can tell you that a Trump third-party ticket would certainly lead to all of us being force to hear the words “Madam Hillary.”

Call it wishful thinking, but I just can’t see Donald Trump letting his massive ego pull him toward that dark a place.

But this is politics. And in politics, anything can happen.
